Lattice Panel – Ideal for Privacy and Plant Climbing

Installing a lattice panel is remarkably easy, straightforward and inexpensive. In order to install the panel, first, measure the width and height of any openings between the support columns. Then prepare lumbar frames by cutting one inch by six inch. Then cut the center support piece of each frame keeping in mind the size of the framework that has been cut already. The center portion can then be attached to the frame using 24 inch T-plates. A coat of primer to each of the frame can be followed by two coats of glass enamel trim paint. The lattice panel is then cut to fit the size of the frame and finally, it is attached to the frame using 3 or 4 inches T- hinge. The work can be confirmed by opening and shutting the doors to ensure hassle free operation.

The main advantage of using a lattice fence is that it creates semi privacy for the inmates, or it can also be used as an attractive fence for aesthetic purpose. The fence is usually made from wood or vinyl. The vinyl fencing is formed by moulding where as in wooden fence; the slats are secured to each other and are framed with the fence by the use of staples. Cedar, redwood, birch pine is some of the common woods used for creating lattice fence. Lattice decorative fencing is rather little pricey and are used in small perimeters. The cost of the fence is determined by the thickness of the slats and the type of wood used for fencing however, cedar and pine are used widely owing to the financial benefits for the owner.

Wooden screens are excellent options for permanent screens while you can choose vinyl or metal ones for making portable screens. While choosing a wooden screen ensure whether the wood is pressure treated, as it increases the lifespan of the screen and it needs less maintenance costs. Uniform lattice design and the screen size determine the overall look of the screen.
