Declared aptly as the God of Racing, Urbino, Italy born Valentino Rossi is the son of former racer Graziano Rossi. Born on 16 February 1979, he started his racing spree at the tender age of 5 with a 60cc Kart which eventually rose to 100 cc, bringing out the concern of his worried mother Stefani. However, nothing could stop this young racer and soon he started winning regional and national Karting races.
